Welcome to the website of Lewis Hopkins, aged 22, from Winchester, UK.
Lewis began racing in 2004 at the age of fourteen and has achieved 35 podium finishes, including 17 wins, in his career to date.
In 2011, he finished second in the Golf GTI Championship and also secured the class championship in the Superpro VAG Trophy, racing for Jabbaracing and sponsored by Professional Motorsport World Expo and Accelerator.
Previously, Lewis made a massive step up in his motorsport career in 2009, competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup, having been selected as one of the first two winners of the Carrera Cup Scholarship. He ended the season inside the Top 10, racing for team champions Redline Racing.
In 2008, he competed in the Caterham Roadsport A Challenge for the second year, racing for team champions, Fauldsport. With seven podium finishes, including three wins in a row in the last three races, it was a great season, finishing third overall in the championship.
In 2007, he achieved three top ten finishes, a fastest lap and a 'Driver of the Meeting' award.
In 2006, his first season of circuit racing, he was the youngest competitor and won the championship in the EVO Caterham Academy (Group 1) using a new race-prepared Caterham which was built and prepared by us.
Previously he spent two years in Junior Rallycross, finishing ninth in the BRDA British Junior Rallycross Championship, and fourth in the BTRDA Clubmans Championship.
Overall, he has achieved 35 podium finishes, including 17 wins, in his career to date.
